Our Speech Pathologists assess and treat children with communication difficulties in the following areas:

Treatments

Our speech pathologists can implement the following actions and treatments to improve an individuals speech:

Conduct a comprehensive speech/language/literacy assessment and provide a written report
Conduct a school visit, where required, and collaborate with your child’s teacher to plan for consistent support for your child
Work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team of occupational therapists, psychologists, music therapists & physiotherapists
Provide resources, support and training for teachers and parents
Provide progress reports for the NDIS, paediatrician and teachers
Value parent engagement in sessions. We conduct parent training during the sessions to ensure that the techniques are generalised at home
